Melih Cevdet Anday, in his play tells about peoples' lives that are made up of their expectations that come to nothing, their sournesses, their inconsistencies and or contradistinctions, hesitations, their unhappiness due to heartbreakings, melancholies, anger explotions, rare happiness moments and consciously planned "game"s. The hidden clashes that lay deep down within them, the lubricity in man-woman relationships, the masks that are used to make the lies believable are all staged in the play in turns.
